Who you are

Do you enjoy working in a hands-on environment? To be in the running for our next Sales Co-worker, we need you to have:

- A passion for our home furnishing products and building our products
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently
- An energetic approach as this department can become extremely busy
- Strong communication skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.

**Your responsibilities**

As Furniture Builder primarily, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality
- Organising stock requests, completing transfers and communicating timelines to relevant departments
- Delivering products to the requested location, and adjusting and securing where needed
- Supporting other Sales areas and within the business when required

**Together as a team**

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people

Additional information

These opportunity is permanent full time, 76 hour per/fortnight contract available.
