Our client, is a well-established privately owned, Skin Cancer Centre led by a team of highly respected Medical Practitioners. They provide a comprehensive range of services to their patients

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Practice Manager to lead the team in this thriving practice.

The key focus of the role is to provide expert advice, guidance and support in overseeing the management of the daily operations of the practice.

Reporting to the Medical Directors of the practice your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing leadership and managing a team of 4 doctors, 1 administrator
- Management of workflow and mentoring of staff
- Reviewing existing policies and procedures and implementing and ongoing evaluation of changes
- Providing ongoing planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects relating to the practice
- Ensuring the delivery and standard of the organisation's processes and procedures are maintained at a high standard and accommodate the future growth of the practice
- Nurturing and developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals within the medical field
- Create a positive culture

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous supervisory experience working as a Practice Manager or Reception Team Leader for a small medical practice
- Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Practice Management or HR/Business Management studies will be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule including DVA, workers compensation billings and private billings
- An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
- Strategic thinker
- Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving
- High level of communication skills written and verbal
- Proficiency in Best Practice or similar medical software
