Camberwell Medical Group is an accredited medical centre providing health care to local communities in Camberwell and surrounding suburbs. Our modern medical centre provides dedicated General Practice, Specialist and Allied Health services, all working hand in hand to deliver holistic patient care.

We are seeking an energetic and positive minded medical receptionist with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our friendly team.

**Skills/experience**:

- Experience working as a Medical Reception.
- Excellent customer service, welcoming to children and families
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Fast learner with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent personal presentation
- Good understanding of MBS items.
- Experience with invoicing with bulk and private billing, dealing with Medicare, liaising with hospitals and preparing bookings
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proactive, able to multi-task
- Reliability and Flexibility
- Experience supporting doctors, nurses, administrative and management staff
- Experience and capability with using Best Practice software **is preferable.**

**Your day-to-day duties will include**:
Front reception duties include welcoming patients, making appointments, billing and invoicing, liaising with Medicare, general clinic duties and using clinic software (Best Practice, Tyro, Fax, etc).

This role reports to the Practice Manager.

**Availability**:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)

- Australia (required)
