**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern Pharmacist to join our team in Lyneham ACT
We are an energetic and enthusiastic team who are dedicated to improving our patients’ healthcare in the best possible way. Our pharmacy is the face of healthcare to our local community so customer service and patient care is always our priority.
In your intern year, you will experience learning and training across all aspects of the pharmacy and will be supported by your preceptor alongside 3 full-time pharmacists. Our aim is to grow you as a pharmacist.

During your internship program with us, we also will provide you with:

- Regular feedback sessions with your preceptor
- One-on-one exam preparation with your preceptor
- Access to past exams and sample papers

**About the Location**:
Lyneham is a suburb of Canberra, Australia in the North Canberra district.
Lyneham has many attractions including nature parks and bushland, proximity to the centre of Canberra, the Old Canberra Inn (the earliest licensed pub in Canberra), popular cafes including the famous Tilley's Devine Cafe and Gallery as well as the Front Cafe and Gallery, and a number of sporting facilities including the National Hockey Centre, Canberra Racecourse and the ACT Netball Centre.
Also located in Lyneham is Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC), which annually hosts Australia's best known car festival, Summernats, the Royal Canberra Show and the National Folk Festival.

**The Offer**:
Award wages on offer. You will be working full time 38 hours per week.
Training and experience across all specialist areas in the pharmacy which include:

- Vaccinations
- Pregnancy care, lactation, and children’s health
- Opioid maintenance therapy
- Home health care
- Sleep apnoea
- Dose administration aid

**Salary**: $26.12 - $27.01 per hour

- Lyneham, ACT 2602: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy: 2 years (required)

- Australia (preferred)
