**The Opportunity**

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged & Disability Care Worker to join their professional team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to make a tangible difference by providing essential household assistance, emotional support, and companionship to aged and disabled individuals within their own homes.

This rewarding role allows you to support clients with dignity and respect, empowering them in their daily lives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide vital companionship and support to elderly and disabled clients during daily activities.
- Assist clients with mobility to help them navigate their environment safely.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to specific dietary requirements.
- Support clients with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Perform domestic tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and tidying to ensure a safe living space.
- Offer friendship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Organise social activities and community outings to foster social engagement.
- Assist with errands, including shopping and attending appointments.
- Please note: In some circumstances, this role may involve living with the client to provide continuous support.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable, empathetic, and qualified individual with a genuine passion for helping others.

**Essential Qualifications & Checks**:

- Minimum of an AQF Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability), Aged Care, Community Services, or a related field.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A current Working with Children's Check.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.

**Experience & Skills**:

- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an Aged & Disability Care Worker role.
- A friendly, positive demeanour with excellent teamwork skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with clients and their families.
- A well-groomed and professional presentation.
- Proven reliability supported by strong professional references.
- Must be prepared for an immediate start and to live and work in Victoria.
