**About Our Client**:
This company is a well-known household brand who success has grown over the last decade with multiple store openings across their retail network. Their innovative model and well-loved product, coupled with high customer service has made them a brand of choice within their industry. Still on an exciting expansion path, they are seeking a hands-on Finance Director to lead and manage the finance function from end to end.

An integral part of the senior management team, with full responsibilities for the end-to-end accounting for Australia and New Zealand, this role will include but not be limited to:

- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
- Timely production of business reporting including monthly P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements and forecasts
- Management of al tax including provisions, FBT and quarterly GST returns.
- Review of company financial controls and retail store compliance.
- Partnering with sales and marketing teams and providing performance analysis.
- Oversee a small accounting team, human resources and legal.
- Contribute to the leadership team on strategies that drive the growth and success of the business.
- Cash management and treasury duties.
- Liaise with external accountants, financiers, banks etc.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Managing the annual audit process.

**The Successful Applicant**:
This appointment requires someone who is CA/CPA qualified and has proven commercial experience in a similar Head of Finance role. You will ideally have experience in retail, hospitality and or franchising FMCG organisations. In addition to this you will have strong planning and organisational skills and have a flexible and practical approach with a 'can do' attitude and strong customer focus. Your ability to communicate and work with people at all levels will be essential for your success, as will your drive for process improvements. In addition to this, you will enjoy leading a team and influencing them to achieve company strategic goals.
