Labourer

Our client are market leaders in freight and delivery services across Australia and overseas along with offering warehousing and 3PL services are looking for **experienced warehouse labourer** for their **Spotswood** facility.

**About the role**
- Monday to Friday fixed shifts
- 9am starts
- Ongoing work

**Roles & Responsibility**:

- Load, move and transport good effectively and aligned with safety procedures
- Labouring and filling containers and rail vans with dunnage
- Manual Container Loading
- Document handling and control procedures for all relevant freight documents
- Inspect loads and goods for damage or issues, report problems and offer suggestions or solutions
- Manual Handling Goods
- Communicate with truck drivers, fleet controllers, transport managers and administration staff and other terminals to ensure correct freight is collected, loaded and unloaded safely

**TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- LF forklift license (preferable)
- 1 year+ experience operating counterbalance (preferable)
- DG Awareness and experience (preferred)
- The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills
- Full working rights as this role is based on a 38 hour working week
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (required)
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- 3PL: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
