Handyman

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, changing light bulbs, and repairing minor damages to buildings and equipment
- Perform general repairs and maintenance of the building's exterior and interior, including drywall repairs, painting, and basic carpentry work
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems, including faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Perform electrical repairs, including replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets, and repairing electrical appliances
- Perform landscaping and groundskeeping duties, such as mowing lawns, pruning shrubs, and removing snow
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment and ensure that they are kept in good working condition
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for more complex repairs and maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues as quickly as possible
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Salary**: $29.58 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Darra, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Police Clearance (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
