LOVEMENOT is opening soon in Fortitude Valley and we’re looking for some guns to join our opening team. We’re a fast casual spot serving epic sandos, bowls, and coffee — built for busy office crowds and anyone who appreciates quality food with a ‘not your typical’ fast food experience. As a brand we are cheeky, fun and at times a little controversial - our goal is to make people look twice

Everyone will start on a casual employment basis, with us watching closely to see who will have what it takes to be offered further growth and full time employment. See below our current positions up for grabs

**ROLES WE’RE HIRING FOR**

**Kitchen Leader (Prep Lead) - Casual to Full-Time Opportunity**

You’ll be the boss of all things prep. Your job is to make sure every sauce, protein, and topping is prepped, stocked and ready so service runs smooth. You’ll help lead our kitchen systems and make sure any team member rostered on prep duty knows what to do — even if you’re not on shift.When prep’s done, you’ll jump in to build orders and serve.

- Have kitchen experience and love owning your space
- Are organised, clean, and thrive on consistency
- Want to grow into a bigger role as we expand

**All-Rounders - Casual**

This is our entry-level role and the heartbeat of our business.You’ll rotate through building food orders, making coffee, and serving customers. Everyone at LOVEMENOT learns it all — because that’s how we keep it tight and fun.

**You’re perfect for this if you**:

- Love fast-paced, team-first environments
- Take pride in doing things right, every time
- Are curious, reliable, and hungry to grow

**Coffee-Focused All-Rounder - Casual**

Same deal as above, but we’re looking for **someone who can confidently run the coffee station**. You’ll lead the charge on espresso and milk quality using specialty coffee from Melbourne — no burnt beans or lazy shots here.Outside of peak coffee times, you’ll also help build food orders and serve customers, etc.

**You’re perfect for this if you**:

- Are already confident on a coffee machine and have some experience
- Want variety in your role (not just coffee all day)
- Care about flavour, flow, and good vibes

**A FEW NON-NEGOTIABLES**:

- Must be available mornings, lunchtimes and weekends (our trading hours 7am-3pm Monday-Sunday to start with)
- Must be legally allowed to work in Australia
- Must actually enjoy being around people and giving our guests the ultimate experience
- Must be reliable and hungry to grow
