We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Job Coach to join our team in Riverwood, Australia. As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their career goals and secure meaningful employment. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on people's lives by providing guidance, support, and resources throughout their job search journey.
- Assess clients' skills, interests, and career aspirations to develop personalized job search strategies
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to improve clients' job readiness, including resume writing, interview skills, and professional communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and employment resources
- Organize and facilitate job search workshops and training sessions
- Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job placement and retention
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on program outcomes and client progress
- Stay updated on local job market trends and employment opportunities in the Riverwood area
- Advocate for clients with disabilities or special needs to ensure equal employment opportunities

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in job coaching, career counseling, or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities
- Proficiency in job search strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with the Riverwood, Australia job market and local industries
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and vocational rehabilitation principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Empathetic and patient approach to working with clients facing employment challenges
- Certified Career Coach (CCC) or similar certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends
