Corporate Affairs Manager
Subcontinental Lithium NL (‘SLN’) is a Perth based development company focused on the exploration and development of raw materials required for sustainable energy on the Indian subcontinent. Such development will be accomplished in conjunction with the Indian government. SLN is seeking a full-time, Perth based, Corporate Affairs Manager to manage the relationship between SLN and various Indian government instrumentalities and other counterparties in India.
The Corporate Affairs Manager will:
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of SLN’s social and corporate policy in India
- Monitor the effectiveness of SLN’s policies and recommend to the SLN Board changes that may enhance the company’s performance in India
- Develop and monitor performance targets for all of SLN’s undertakings in India
- Liaise with subordinates and contractors to ensure effective implementation of SLN’s development programs in India
- Manage the Company’s employees and contractors during their Indian engagement
- Represent SLN at official functions, conferences and presentations to social, corporate and government counterparties
- Participate in the steering committees of joint development programs
A bachelor degree or higher qualification is required however at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. Minimum 2 years work experience is essential. The successful applicant must have liaison experience with the Indian government, at a high corporate level. Applicants must have a demonstrated track record of deal completion in India and preferably experience with Australian state and federal governments, in particular JTSI in Western Australia.
The position will report directly to the SLN CEO.
Remuneration will be in the range $140 - $160,000pa plus superannuation and performance bonuses.
