Diploma of Human Resources or Cert IV (preferable)
- Certificate in Payroll Management (preferable)
- Demonstrate sound leadership/supervisory skills
- Sound understanding and use of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Outlook
- Good reading and communication skills
- Ability to present information and communicate to large groups of people
- Ability to balance individual work and work well in a team environment.
- Experience with Payroll in xero
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Weekly Payroll and Human Resource functions. The HR & Payroll Officer also has the responsibility of performing the role of the Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator and supporting senior management in other administrative matters.
- Monthly Payments of employee deductions and statutory payments.
- Workers compensation claims to the insurer and regulator. Develop RTW plans and maintain MDG injury statistics.
- Perform recruitment and selection
- Property or plant damage claims to insurer
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
