Lawyers - Legislation and Administrative Law
**The Role**
We currently have multiple opportunities within a Commonwealth Department that is seeking experienced Administrative and Legislation Lawyers to join the Department’s legal team for an initial period of 6 months.
**The Responsibilities**
- assist with the development of legislation and the drafting of legislative instruments under those laws;
- provide general administrative law advice including on matters relating to the National Redress Scheme; and
- provide legislative authority work and manage other legislation and statutory interpretation issues.
**The Requirements**
A current practising certificate, and experience advising on Commonwealth administrative law, legislative development or statutory interpretation matters are essential.
A Baseline security clearance would be highly regarded.
