Warehouse Picker/packer

**Position **Store Person **Reports to **Operations Manger

**Scope**

To handle, store, pack and deliver goods within specified so that it meets the quality and productivity requirements of Finsbury Green Printing.

**Responsibilities**

**Production**

▪ Follow Finsbury’s Quality & Environment System, Policies, Q&E Procedures and Work Instructions at all times.

▪ Liaise with the Warehouse Supervisor on daily work schedules.

▪ Read and fully understand instructions on the Job Docket.

▪ Solve problems by working with the Warehouse Supervisor.

▪ Ensure the Warehouse is well organised, clean and orderly.

▪ Initiate corrective and preventative action on anything that may effect the quality of Finsbury’s products.

**Dispatching**

▪ Pack all dispatched goods to avoid damage, effective handling and storage, clearly labelled and presented well to the customer.

▪ Check against the Order for quantities, number of cartons, breakdowns, delivery details and

▪ Ensure that all goods are dispatched on time according to the Daily Delivery List and mark off when they have left.

**Receiving**

▪ Ensure all incoming goods are checked against the delivery docket and are processed in a timely manner.

▪ Ensure all Finsbury orders are cross checked to goods received.

▪ Advise appropriate staff of outstanding orders and delivery discrepancies.

**Warehouse**

▪ Ensure the Warehouse is maintained in a clean and efficient manner.

▪ Ensure all goods in the Warehouse are documented and controlled.

▪ Ensure all pick and packs are executed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

▪ Manage the storage, pick and pack functions for Print Management customers.

**Equipment**

▪ Undertake efficiently, regular preventative maintenance on machinery.

▪ Ensure that machinery is maintained in good clean working order.

▪ Alert the Warehouse Supervisor of any machinery problems.

**General**

▪ Ensure customers perceive Finsbury as responsive to their needs and follow up proactively all enquiries.

▪ Maintain an enthusiastic liaison and information service with all Finsbury departments.

▪ Promote a clean and safe work environment conforming with Finsbury’s recycling procedures.

▪ Conduct yourself and communicate professionally with customers.

▪ Perform any other duties at the discretion of Finsbury’s management.

▪ Take all reasonable care to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.

▪ Do not endanger yourself and any other person through any act of negligence.

▪ Ensure all equipment is used correctly.

▪ Conform with any instructions given to you to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.

▪ Report to the Manufacturing Manager any information that may avoid, eliminate or minimise any hazards to machinery, working conditions and methods.

▪ Ensure that your work area is clean, tidy and free from hazards and risks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $30.10 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greenacre, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
