**The role**
As a Optical Fibre Technician you will be involved in:

- Preparation and splicing of optic fibre cables internal and external enclosures and frames.
- Reading and understanding network plans and drawings.
- Multi core count (Stranded and Ribbon) Cable preparation.
- Testing and Commissioning of links as per customer requirements.
- Knowledge of NBN DFN and LFN infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cable Hauling Practices and Procedures.
- Knowledge of multiple Carrier Optical Fibre Networks.

**Requirements / Skills**
- Experience in the telecommunications industry working in live carrier networks
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
- Current drivers license
- First Aid (CPR)
- Confined Space ticket
- Single & Ribbon experience would be viewed favourably
- NBN enabled
