Apprentice

**Role Summary**:
Flowserve is seeking a dedicated Apprentice to join our team in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment while working with industry experts. As an Apprentice, you will be involved in various aspects of pump manufacturing, learning the skills necessary to become a proficient tradesperson.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of industrial pumps.
- Learn to operate machinery and tools used in pump manufacturing.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers on various projects.
- Document work processes and maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
- Attend relevant courses and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of Year 10 education or equivalent.
- Strong interest in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced personnel.
- Basic understanding of tools and machinery used in manufacturing.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**:

- Prior experience or training in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with industrial pumps and their components.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
