Courier Driver

**Position**: Courier Driver

**Location**: Great Brisbane Region, QLD

**Employment Type**:

- Weekly day part-time shifts totalling 37.5 hours per fortnight, worked one week on / one week off, Monday to Friday.
- Blood Bank Couriers: Rotating 7-day roster, with weekend shifts included in the 37.5 hours.
- Evening Couriers: Shifts vary between 4.5-5.5 hours per shift, also worked one week on / one week off.

**Key Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:

- Pick up pathology specimens and deliver reports and supplies to medical centres, hospitals, and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology collection centres across Brisbane Metro areas.
- For Blood Bank Courier roles, transport blood and blood products to hospitals, including calls to hospital operating theatres.
- Perform administrative tasks related to specimen management during courier runs.

You will need to work autonomously and as part of a wider team, which includes couriers, pathology specimen collectors, and laboratory staff. The role also requires prioritising tasks, adhering to schedules, and maintaining a high standard of efficiency and accuracy.

**What we are looking for**:
Preferred applicants will have prior knowledge of Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology courier services and be comfortable with:

- Delivering stores and medical reports to surgeries and collection centres.
- Learning multiple courier runs during full-time training periods.
- Working a variety of shifts, including evening and weekend rosters.

Applicants must hold an open driver’s licence for at least five years (with no infringements) and be prepared to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B.
