The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you’ll provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to your team while managing day-to-day operations including planning, rostering, and maintenance execution. You’ll play a vital role in promoting a high-performance, safety-focused culture aligned with Sanitarium’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of trades employees, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain equipment performance to meet industry and site standards.
- Manage team rosters and weekly payroll.
- Support strategic planning and contribute to long-term maintenance strategies.
- Champion continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and environmental standards.

What You’ll Bring
- Formal Electrical or Mechanical Trade qualification.
- Experience in FMCG maintenance with a reliability focus.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
