**About the role**

We are seeking to appoint an Associate to support His Honour Judge O'Connell in the Criminal Division of the County Court of Victoria for a fixed term contract of 12 months (with the possibility to extend for a further 12 months).

As one of two Associates you will provide operational, administrative, and technical legal support to the Judge both in chambers and in court. The role involves case file management, a strong emphasis on communication at all levels, and legal research and writing.

**About you**

You will have a legal background, the drive to succeed, ability to perform under pressure and the capacity to work well in a small team.

Relevant qualifications and experience are essential.
