**About the role**:
Our Coles Distribution Centres play an important part in moving quality products through our supply chain, to provide extraordinary shopping experiences for our customers, equipped with leading edge technology and world class facilities, the Edinburgh Parks Distribution Centre concentrates on fast moving consumer goods, in areas of ambient, chilled, fresh produce, and frozen products all under the one roof.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you are accountable for coaching and supporting a team by creating a team first environment to deliver the operational output required, always keeping safety and compliance front of mind. This is a great opportunity to build your career with Coles Group.

***Primary Duties**:

- Developing a high performing team in which they feel valued and respected
- Planning and execution of day-to-day and weekly operations
- Assist in driving operational and business transformation across the DC
- Foster and maintain a working environment conducive to operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Contribute in, delivering an actionable long-term strategy which engages team members
- Adhering to the correct incident, problem and change management processes
- Foster proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure the DC is maintaining the highest level of safe working practices
- Analyse data to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the operations
- Lead one of the following areas receiving, pick packing and/or dispatching of goods

***About you and your skills**:

- Ability to build strong relationships through listening, reflection and delivering positive outcomes for your team and Coles
- Experience in energising, empowering, and supporting your team in exceeding set targets
- A track record of meeting commercial budgets and cost management principles
- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills to a wide range of stakeholders
- Flexibility to work a rotating AM shift roster, as the DC operates 7 days a week for our customers
