Non-GP, surgical specialist medical practice seeking additional medical admin

Primary essential responsibilities include:

- Taking inbound phone calls, booking and arranging patient appointments as required
- Managing of claims to Medicare, DVA, ADF and processing of workers compensation claims
- Assisting with other medical admin, including scope to support our surgical bookings office in the near term
- *Willingness and ability to assist doctors in treatment rooms on occasion as needed, including - but not limited to: holding equipment, cleaning equipment, loading and unloading autoclave, restocking and reordering medical and non-medical consumables etc.
- Assisting with accounts receivable and payable admin and other items as required, with scope to include other backend admin in the future

We are a new non-GP, surgical specialist clinic located in Chatswood, less than 200m from the new Chatswood interchange. We value a positive workplace culture and are looking for an additional like-minded person to join ASAP.

Desired qualities:
This role is casual with the view to becoming part-time for the right person (or persons) as we grow. Prior experience in non-GP specialist practice rooms, GP clinic, allied health or dental clinic essential.

There is possible scope for remote/work from home in the future approximately 25% of the time if pending home office environment and technical dependencies.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $34.26 - $38.00 per hour
