**About the Role**

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced **Home Care Package Support Workers** who are fluent in **Chinese** (Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferred). You will be supporting older clients in their own homes with personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship to help them maintain independence and dignity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Personal care including showering, toileting, and dressing
- Manual handling and mobility assistance (hoist training an advantage)
- Assistance with hygiene, grooming, and continence support
- Light domestic duties and meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Following tailored care plans and maintaining accurate notes

**To be considered for this role, you must have**:

- Current NDIS Worker check, Police Check, and Working with Children's Check.
- Certificate of NDIS Worker Orientation Program.
- A current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification.
- A valid Australian Driver’s License & Reliable Car.
- A minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field.
- Experience working with people with Mental health disability and challenging behaviour.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the NDIS framework.
- Ability to provide 2 current/recent work-related references.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- A compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience in challenging situations.

**To succeed in this role, you must have**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a **PCA** (Personal Care Assistant) or similar role
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Experience in **aged care** or **complex care**:

- Fluent in **Chinese** (Mandarin or Cantonese) - essential
- Willingness and ability to perform **intimate personal care tasks**:

- Valid **Driver’s License** and access to a reliable vehicle
- **Current Police Check**, **First Aid** and **CPR Certificate**:

- COVID-19 Vaccination (as required by regulation)
