**Position Overview**:
The Early Childhood Educational Leader role at Jellyfish Childcare Centre in Quakers Hill offers a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead the educational program for children aged 2-6 years. Working closely with the centre's Director and a team of passionate educators, the Educational Leader will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that adheres to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF). With a focus on promoting positive relationships with families and fostering children's holistic development, this position provides a platform for professional growth and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee the educational program development for children aged 2-6 years
- Collaborate with the Director and other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Mentor and support educators in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's learning and development, and provide feedback to educators
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, involving them in their child's learning journey
- Stay updated on current best practices and research in early childhood education, and incorporate them into the centre's programs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including those set by the NSW Department of Education and Communities
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's practices
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including record-keeping and reporting

**Successful Applicants Will Have**:

- Diploma or ECT qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent
- Valid Working with Children Check
- An excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Experience in curriculum implementation and translation of EYLF to learning outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great mentoring and leadership skills
- A passion for providing high-quality childcare and education
- Right to Work in Australia without restriction
- 1 year experience as an Educational Leader, or in a similar position
- Current working with children check, current First aid & CPR
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
