**The role you will play**

Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, you’ll be responsible for all things usability, experience, interaction and visual design to create a great customer experience.

**Further responsibilities include**
- Supporting the requirements gathering process with concepts and ideas
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI / UX design strategy
- Producing low-res customer journeys and user flows to draw out requirements as well as
- Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps and prototypes
- Designing and testing UI and interaction design elements and tools
- Investigating user experience design requirements and collaborating with Product / Customer Delivery to meet customer needs
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior
- Building and maintaining our design system and herding the cats to keep using it
- Knowledge of wireframing, facilitation and collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Miro, Google Suite, Atlassian)

**Who you are**
- Experience gained as a UI / UX Designer for digital agencies, products or services, ideally gained within a fast growth tech or SaaS environment
- Creativity and innovative thinking to design enjoyable UIs to get things done
- Ability to turn strategy into actionable requirements and customer outcomes with a kickass team
- A self-starter who has the tenacity to solve problems and find solutions in a professional and goal driven way
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how features function and look
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Set and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Use lightweight research methods to test and validate macro and micro interactions
- Understand the user, the content, and the context to deliver good UX then leverage user feedback, site analytics and industry best practices to improve upon that experience.
- Empathy with the ability to identify and document key pain points and opportunities to delight in a customer journey that provides actionable insights to the Delivery teams
- A great communicator with the ability to transfer knowledge from customers as well as team members to the wider team in a concise, easy to understand way
- You know your way around agile delivery, epics, user stories, tasks and test scenarios and have the ability to turn these into test cases
- You have the willingness to expand and broaden your knowledge and toolkit on an ongoing basis
