**ABOUT THE PROJECT**

Oxford & Foley is a $75 million project includes the bespoke refurbishment of three existing heritage buildings, with the addition of new levels to each structure. ‘Oxford & Foley’ is a city-shaping project, which will transform and breathe new life into Sydney’s Cultural and Creative heart, Oxford Street, Darlinghurst.

This Project, led by an experienced Senior Project Manager is uniquely complex and with three buildings and tight access operates almost like three projects in one.

**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**:
Reporting to our Senior Site Manager, we’re looking for a Foreman with a Commercial background. Whilst you will be joining a large project team, this role is responsible for Building 3 which represents $18 - 20m worth of works, and a great opportunity to own your role.

As a Foreman you will be confident leading work independently, but are a team player who can leave your ego behind. You will be surrounded by a team of 10+ high performing people, but in particular will work closely with our Site Engineer, Design Manager, and have support from our Senior Project Engineer.

If you’re looking for an apartment job, this is not the role for you. This project is a mix of heritage, excavation and new build, so to thrive in this role you will be able to think outside the box to keep things moving when you come up against challenges. With a tower crane established on site and inground excavation works underway, this is a well established site ready for you to jump in

**Here’s what your day to day might look like**:

- Co-ordinating and implementing all day-to-day activities in Building 3
- Driving the construction program to achieve progress and project delivery schedules
- Managing subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers on-site
- Making decisions and solving problems that arise on site
- Managing and coordinating materials, plant and equipment, including a Tower Crane
- Conducting Site Inductions for staff and Subcontractors
- Conducting Toolbox Talks

**ABOUT YOU**

You will be right for this role if you have:

- Experience on commercial construction projects, ideally in Tier 2 or Tier 3
- About 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand or Sub Foreman
- Willingness to take on a challenge and the ability to think outside of the box
- Ability to take the lead and work independently whilst also being part of a larger team
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in building, construction or similar
- Strong understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and requirements, and proven experience of effectively controlling site safety and environmental compliance.
