Midnight Hotel is currently seeking **CASUAL HOUSEMAN **to join our team

As a member of the Housekeeping Team, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas within the hotel are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.

**Your duties will include**:

- Cleaning of all designated areas within the hotel including the lobby, restaurant, bar, conference facilities, pool, gym, guest corridors, car park and exterior grounds
- Assist in removing rollaway beds.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, storerooms and trolleys are kept neat and organised.
- Cleaning of public bathrooms and facilities.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness and follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures.
- Removing and re-stocking linen and guest amenities in all housekeeping storage areas
- Undertaking room attendant duties as required.
- Ensure all Lost property is recorded correctly.
- You will be required to attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings and training sessions as scheduled and to use specialized equipment in the course of your work including vacuum cleaners, trolley’s, multi-line telephone systems and general cleaning equipment such as mops, buckets, cleaning chemicals including bleaching agents.

This will be a fast-paced environment and you will need to be strong, healthy and fit and have a passion for hospitality and cleaning. You will be given thorough training to perform your duties to the required standard.

**This role will be undertaken across the PM and overnight (3:00pm commencement), therefore the ability to work across a rotating roster is a key requirement.**

**What we need from you**:

- Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel environment, or in a similar commercial environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Complete a wide variety tasks within a set time period
- High standard of personal presentation
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekdays, weekends and public holidays
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country
