Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials and products.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
Transport goods to designated locations within the warehouse using established safety procedures.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and clutter-free warehouse layout for efficient operations.
Properly label and store products in designated areas, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory counts as required.
Rotate and manage stock to minimize spoilage, damage, or loss.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and performing warehouse tasks.
Conduct regular safety checks on the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials moved, goods received, and shipments dispatched.
Update inventory tracking systems and databases as necessary.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the forklift and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Ensure the forklift is properly charged or fueled before each shift.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse organization and inventory management principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to established protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and data entry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

- Moorebank, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
