**The Role**: We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a female participant in Woolloongabba, QLD 4102, who sustained a spinal cord injury from a motor vehicle accident. The position is available December 12, 2024, with assistance required Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM, depending on community access. Additionally, assistance is required from 19:00 PM to 21:00 PM (split shifts).

Our participant also has a history of mental health including anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, BPD and OCD.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Provide domestic assistance
- Catheter management
- Bowel management
- Skin integrity management
- Plan, transport, and accompany the participant to community access, health, and rehabilitation appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support

**Compensation**:

- Day Shift: $40.00 per hour
- Afternoon shift: $44.00 per hour
- Saturday shift: $56.00 per hour
- Sunday shift: $72.00 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Third Party Compulsory Insurance
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
