Exercise Physiologist

We are a dynamic team operating out of many commercial gyms in the Greater Wollongong area dedicated to promoting health and wellness within our community. Our facilities provide a vibrant and supportive environment for individuals of all fitness levels to achieve their goals.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our members to improve their overall health and well-being through personalized exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the General Population clientele, tailoring exercise programs to meet their individual needs and goals.
- Operate your own business within our gym facility, managing client bookings, payments, and scheduling.
- Set and charge your own rates for services provided, offering flexibility and autonomy in your practice.
- Utilise HICAPS capability for seamless payment processing and client convenience.
- Establish and maintain relationships with NDIS providers, General Practitioners, Allied Health Services, and Workcover, facilitating referrals and collaborative care for clients as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop customized exercise prescriptions, and provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their fitness journey.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
- Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $75.00 - $140.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 80 per week
