Billing Specialist

THE OPPORTUNITY
In our state-of-the-art Melbourne support office (Mulgrave) and reporting to the Senior Billing Specialist, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring billing processes are carried within agreed timescales, sales invoices are presented to Customers in line with customer requirements. **In this role, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Complete understanding of all Billing processes, customer requirements and timeframes
- Ensure processes and rules relating to Capex, Projects and Opex cost allocations are adhered to
- Accurate processing of sales invoices within agreed timeframes and inline with customer requirements
- Accurate updates of ERP and Ledger records to match billing/funding route
- Work with numerous stakeholders to track project status for billings including progress billings

**To be considered for this role you will have / be**:

- Degree-level qualifications in Accounting or similar preferred
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written skills (essential)
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, initiative and decision-making skills with an ability to multitask
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a paced environment with a heavy workload
- Advanced level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office is essential (Advanced Excel including Formulas, VLookups, Charts and Pivot Tables)
- Ability to use shared workflow technology (Microsoft Office, SharePoint and iCloud)
- Experience in coding invoices against relevant cost centres (ideal but not mandatory)
