**The Role**
- This is an exciting opportunity at an accredited surgical training hospital for an unaccredited surgical registrar position, working in a supportive, structured teaching environment to support progression to entering SET training.

You will be part of a collegiate team of 6 general surgery registrars working across a 7 day roster. You will have access to weekly education sessions and mentorship from consultants with an open-door policy to assist in developing your surgical proficiency.

These positions offer a real opportunity to expand your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

- This is an exciting opportunity to join **Tweed Valley Hospital**, your primary work location and a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region, also including **Murwillumbah District** & **Byron Central** Hospitals. The 723.3 million state-of-the-art hospital opened on 14 May 2024 and will deliver additional health services and bed capacity to meet the growing community's healthcare needs.
