**About the Role**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced **2IC (Second in Charge)** to support our **OOSH Coordinator** in leading our Before and After School Care program. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to step into a leadership role, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a positive environment for children, families, and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the **OOSH Coordinator** in the day-to-day management of the service.
- Provide high-quality care and educational experiences for children.
- Lead and support a team of educators, ensuring a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community.
- Ensure compliance with the **National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations, and service policies**.
- Assist with **rosters, programming, risk assessments, and behaviour guidance**.
- Step into the Coordinator role when required.

**Position Requirements**:

- An innovative, motivated and passionate approach to creating quality education and care settings for children aged 5-12
- Sound understanding of the National Law & Regulations, National Quality Framework including “My Time Our Place” framework
- Preferably Diploma or Cert. III Qualifications in Children’s Services
- overseas applicants must satisfy Australian immigration requirements

**Regulated Requirements (completed or willing to obtain)**
- A current Employee Working with Children's Check
- Child Protection Training

**General Work Hours**
- Part time or Full time
- Monday - Friday
- Before school care 7-9am
- After School Care 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
