Reporting to Depot Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:

- Ensuring safe & efficient shunting activities
- Perform assigned duties in accordance with SCT Rail’s policies and work instructions.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
- Ensure compliance with all of SCT’s OHS policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislation
- A strong customer focus orientation
- Be able to work in a team environment and in some cases unsupervised

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Current Certificate 4Train Driving Qualifications.
- Current Route Knowledge, Adelaide - Horsham Adelaide - Broken Hill, Adelaide - Perth
- Shunting
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Current Track Access Permit (TAP)
- Valid C Class Driver’s License
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Be reasonably fit and agile to meet the Category 1 medical standards.
