Our team is growing and we are looking for an experienced **Environment, Health and Safety Specialist - Ergonomist **to join our team of dedicated Environment, Health and Safety professionals. This role will require regular Australia-wide travel and can be based in Brisbane, Williamtown, Melbourne or Adelaide.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Coach and support the business to understand ergonomic risk and how to determine and implement appropriate risk management activities;
- Lead risk assessments (individual and task based) related to ergonomic and musculo-skeletal risks;
- Develop and implement ergonomic, manual handling and task analysis programs;
- Investigate ergonomic related incidents and identify corrective action/s to prevent reoccurrence;
- Provide input to new or changing facility or businesses to mitigate risks;
- Develop and facilitate relevant workplace education and training;
- Coordinate relevant tools, processes and procedures;
- Monitor and evaluate changes to compliance requirements (eg regulatory, Company etc).

**You will need to have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience s
- Experience related to risk and compliance management.
- Effective and demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to network and negotiate with as well as influence at all levels.
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to prepare engaging communications, documentation, and reports.
- A solution focused and analytical approach to problem solving, including providing quality strategic and operational advice and customer service.
- Proven capability to work positively in a team environment and autonomously where required.
- Ability to travel nationally on regular (eg fortnightly) basis.
