Pay: $35/hr + super + all the usual leave perks

Hours: 4 afternoons a week (2:30pm-5:30/6pm), with extra hours during school holidays and the occasional weekend babysitting

About the Family:
This lovely, down-to-earth family of four (plus two super friendly spoodles) is looking for a fabulous nanny to join their lively home. Mum works from home (but keeps out of the way) and Dad runs his own business. They’re a nature-loving, beach-going, dog-walking, art-gallery-visiting kind of crew—and the kids are just as active and curious as their parents

They’ve got two gorgeous children:

- A clever, energetic 6-year-old boy who’s all about science, sport and numbers. He’s in Year 1 and thrives with structure, clear expectations, and a strong bond with his caregiver.
- A creative and playful 3.5-year-old girl who loves dolls, dress-ups and anything that lets her imagination run wild. She’s in daycare full-time and full of personality.

The Role:
We’re on the hunt for a warm, switched-on nanny who’s confident, consistent and fun Someone who gets kids, especially those with big feelings and even bigger brains. Your afternoons will be filled with outdoor adventures, after-school runs, and plenty of imaginative play. Behaviour management skills are a must—these kids need structure to shine, and you’ll be working alongside the parents to keep things consistent using strategies like the “anger volcano,” timers, and calming techniques.

You’ll also be:

- Handling school and daycare pick-ups
- Managing the afternoon run of activities (like swimming, ninja classes and soccer)
- Preparing and serving simple, healthy dinners
- Helping with the evening routine—think bath time, brushing teeth, calming down for the night
- Keeping things tidy and running smoothly in the downtime

What You’ll Need:

- A full Australian driver’s licence + your own car (car seats provided)
- Current Blue Card / Police Check
- First Aid + CPR certification
- Solid experience supporting kids with emotional regulation and behavioural needs
