**About the role**:
We are seeking an Events Administration Team Leader to support the Wedding & Functions Lead within our hospitality and tourism portfolio, working three days per week.

In this role, you will oversee the planning, administration, and execution of events and functions, ensuring our products and services are effectively promoted to current and prospective customers. You will drive growth in restaurant sales through strategic planning and coordination of events, daily operations, conferences, and corporate activities. Exceptional customer service is key, as you will build positive relationships with external customers, suppliers, and the broader community. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with the Summerland Farm team to achieve our values and deliver effective results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective and efficient administration to support retail business operations.
- Effectively promote products and services of the business when communicating with current and prospective customers
- Achieve growth targets in restaurant sales though effective planning and coordination of events and functions, administration, daily restaurant trade, conferences, and corporate activities
- Attract customers through excellent customer service,
- build positive relationships with external customers, suppliers, and broader community
- Facilitate cooperation and collaborative team relationships with the wider Summerland Farm team, reflecting our values and producing effective team results

**About You**:

- Relevant Cert III Events Management or demonstrated experience delivering functions, events and/ or weddings
- A commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and technical skills to address customer requirements; escalating if needed
- Sound computer skills (MS Office) and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
- Confidently build relationships, engaging well with a diverse range of people
- Excellent customer service skills
- A practical understanding of WHS requirements
- A current Australian driver’s license
- Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
