Join ASX listed company Korvest Ltd as a **Part-Time** **Payroll Officer **at our head office in Kilburn, South Australia.
Korvest Ltd is the parent company of Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel & components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia.
Salary $70,000 - $85,000 (FTE) + annual incentive bonus + superannuation
**Scope of the Role**:
We are moving to a new streamlined payroll system in the new year and are seeking an experienced payroll officer to work with us from the planning phase and continue as a permanent member of our head office team. You will work closely with the Finance Director, Financial Controller, and HR Manager who will provide a supportive team and will work together with you to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. We will be transitioning from MYOB Pay Global to a modern, streamlined payroll solution and are currently in the planning phase.
The role offers a variety of duties including:
- Overseeing end to end payroll processing for approximately 250 employees located across SA, NSW, VIC, WA and QLD (with majority based at our Kilburn Head Office in SA)
- Managing the set-up, maintenance and integrity of the payroll system
- Payroll reporting including month and year-end reconciliations for Workcover, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, charity donations, etc
- Processing regular monthly and annual incentive payments
- Reporting, including exporting and analysing excel reports
- Entering and updating employee data as required
- Collaboration and communication with managers and employees to resolve payroll queries
- Liaising with external service providers when required

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll, preferably at a senior level
- Attention to detail and high-level accuracy in data entry
- Analytical skills with ability to seek system and efficiency improvements
- Intermediate to high level computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Excel for data reporting and analysis
- Experience with award interpretation for payroll purposes
- Experience using multiple payroll systems will be highly regarded.
