**Role Overview**:
We are urgently seeking a **skilled and experienced Roofer** to join our solar installation projects as a subcontractor. The successful applicant will be responsible for safely mounting solar racking systems and panels, ensuring waterproofing and roof integrity across tile and metal roofs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare roof surfaces and install racking/mounting systems for solar PV
- Handle tile, metal and concrete roof types (cutting tiles, replacing, sealing)
- Completing DC runs to inverter location
- Work closely with solar electricians to complete installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
- Adhere to **NSW Work Health & Safety Regulations** and **Safe Work at Heights** codes
- Comply with **AS/NZS 5033** and other solar installation standards

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a roofer in solar PV installations (minimum 1 year)
- Must have own tools, transport, and PPE
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Working at Heights Certification
- Public Liability Insurance (minimum $10M)
- ABN required
- Strong communication and time management skills

**Job Types**: Casual, Subcontract, Apprenticeship

Pay: $28.35 - $40.39 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus

**Experience**:

- solar roofer: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working on Heights Certificate (required)
- White Card (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
