An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Officer to join our Opal Specialty Packing team at the Orchard Hills, NSW site.

This role will be responsible for dealing with all external and internal customer transactions in a manner that builds a positive working partnership and supports customer needs and expectations. The role will encompass all elements of the internal sales process (order entry, quoting, artwork & design co-ordination, order status and communication and project co-ordination).

This is a great foundation role to build your career with Opal.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Receiving and managing inbound calls
- Entering customer orders and tracking order status of jobs
- Liaising with customers relating to process enquiries, orders, price variances and queries
- Co-ordinating artwork and design requests
- Working with estimating to learn how quotes are built and uploaded into the system

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Some sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Some experience or exposure to estimating
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning and personal development.
- Comfortable in using ERP Systems and MS Office suite
