Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Emergency Care, Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.

The Pharmacy department at Colac Area Health is a fully comprehensive medication service, made up of an enthusiastic team comprising of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. The Pharmacy Technician will work in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy and will support the provision of Pharmacy Services within Colac Area Health to inpatients and organisational departments and clinical and Medication safety governance.

What’s required?

ESSENTIAL:

- Successfully completed Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support
- At least two years of working as a Pharmacy technician in hospital/health service Pharmacy
- Established skills in working with consumers and pharmacists in clinical settings
- Friendly, enthusiastic and motivated worker.
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understands patient/client confidentiality.
- Willingness to undertake any and all learning opportunities offered by or in conjunction with HealthShare Victoria (HSV) to assist in stock management activities as they related to Pharmaceutical purchasing.
