Joinery Draftsmen

**About the ROLE**
As a Joinery Draftsman at UNITA’s key Victorian supply partner, NCI, your role as part of this growing team will work alongside multiple departments within our manufacturing facility based in Victoria.

**What YOU will be doing**
- Preparation of preliminary drawings as per architectural drawings and scope of works.
- Forwarding preliminary drawings and additional information to Site Managers.
- Amend plans to site measurements and markups from clients.
- Liaise with clients to finalise shop drawing approval.
- Liaise with the production team and project management team - adapting plans as required.
- Improve design processes and bring new ideas to improve business efficiency.
- Continuously maintain updates and communication through NEXVIA - project management software.

**What YOU will bring to the role**
- Prior experience within the joinery/cabinet-making industry.
- Detailed knowledge of precision manufacturing systems and processes.
- Ability to read, analyse, understand and interpret client & joinery drawings.
- High level of integrity and dependability - with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Full legal working rights in Australia.
