**About the role**
We are looking for a Bulk Logistics Manager at West Footscray to manage the day to day and long-term strategic development of the Bulk Logistics Planning Team. Guiding and mentoring a team of 4 you will be required to influence change in people and processes, lead by example and have a hands-on approach to making a difference. You will be passionate about developing and driving operational efficiencies to ensure supply chain objectives are met in our highly dynamic environment.

This role will be based at our West Footscray site, and you will be reporting to the AU Logistics Manager. The role encompasses full responsibility for accurate execution of transport services servicing the demands for multiple business units by leading and developing the Bulk Logistics Planning Team.

Key responsibilities of the role are;
- Manage the Bulk Team ensuring the customer service team have clear and accurate information to manage customer expectations.
- Development of structured training methods and materials to support the Customer service team and Logistic Planning team members to improve the current transport processes
- Manage the standard operating processes for the transport planning process and mentoring and supporting the team in the understanding of and adherence to such
- Develop, and manage the weekly carrier meetings and broader strategic quarterly and yearly meeting where applicable managing and delivering areas of improvement and new opportunities.
- Be the 2IC for the Australian Logistics Manager role and be leave cover for this role.

**Your experience**

Other key competencies we are looking for are;
- 5 plus years of Logistics and Transport planning experience.
- A tertiary qualification in a Logistics / Supply Chain discipline or related experience in a transport environment.
- Experience with multi-site coordination
- Strong leadership skills and team management skills and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Successful track record in managing customer/supplier relationships. Innovative, proactive and focused on solutions
