**Your new role**
This an exciting opportunity for someone mechanically minded who can contribute to the maintenance of a wide range of concrete plants across southern NSW. This role is to ensure preventative maintenance as well as breakdowns are completed within a cost effective and timely manner. This is an exciting opportunity for who somebody who loves to travel and work across a variety of locations which will include 21 sites across Port Kembla, Bateman’s Bay, Narooma, Nowra, Pambula, Dunmore, Illawarra, and ACT regions across a 38hr, 5 day work week.

Duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to fault-find breakdowns and implement corrective actions
- Document and store all maintenance records
- Participate in an environment that encourages a safety and business improvement culture at all levels.
- Ensure the use of work permits and the development of SWMS’s by operators and maintenance employees for all maintenance tasks
- Coordinate the maintenance demands with operations to meet production requirements
- Ability to undertake gearbox changes, bearing changes, cement socks, butterfly valves etc.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant experience/qualification in Heavy Diesel Automotive/Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker Trade
- Minimum 3-years’ experience in relevant field
- Experience with concrete plants or machinery is HIGHLY desirable
- Computer/Technology skills are HIGHLY desirable
- White Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- EWP ticket
