The successful applicants will be offered casual work across a 24/7 roster in a variety of community settings and opportunities.

**About the role**

The position requires providing direct, individual support for people with cognitive impairments, disability and or aged care. This may include various different supports to maximise and support for participants' capacity for daily living and their goals and needs.

All positions are well supported with care training on a client-specific basis delivered by our registered nurses and trainers. The ability to work weekends and assist with overnight and evening care is an advantage but not essential.

Some key points for your role are as below:

- Provide and/or assist participants with personal care (meal preparation, shower service, etc.) household tasks, community access, etc.
- Provide assistance with exercise.
- Support participant-centered approach when providing care.
- Support to access the community, cognitive support and mentoring.
- Protect and respect the privacy, confidentiality and rights of participants.
- Maintain a professional attitude and boundaries.
- Adhere to the given roster and policies
- You will be a valued team member helping to provide services to support clients’ individual needs in both their home and community

**Requirement**
- **Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) or equivalent qualifications within community service**:

- **Current First Aid and CPR Certificate**:

- **Valid NDIS worker screening check**:

- **Valid Working With Children Check (for employers)**:

- **Valid Driver’s Licence and owns a car**:

- **Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (up to 2 shots)**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.33 - $35.00 per hour
