**THE ROLE**:
Our client, the National Disability Insurance Agency (**NDIA**) is seeking a number of Paralegals at the APS 4 level to be seconded to the Agency’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation team for an initial expected period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- triage of AAT Applications received by the NDIA;
- preparing and filing of all AAT documents as required for AAT Applications received by the NDIA within strict timeframes;
- being timely, reliable and working under pressure;
- ensuring effective communication with team members, internal stakeholders and participants / applicants;
- assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority; and
- providing all other required support for lawyers and the Practice Manager in the team.

**‍**THE REQUIREMENTS**:
Previous experience with the AAT or in a federal government department would be highly regarded. Strong communication and IT Systems skills are essential.
