**Greencross Livingstone Road **are looking for a motivated **Kennel Attendant** to join the team

**This is the perfect opportunity for a Cert. II or III student looking to further their skills and gain experience on their way to becoming a qualified Vet Nurse**

Greencross Livingstone Road is a busy little clinic with a high surgical and consulting caseload, we have individual dog, cat and isolation wards as well as our beautiful state of the art boarding facility. We are fortunate to have a wonderful clientele of responsible pet owners who place importance on high levels of healthcare for their pets.

Our clinic is a harmonious and supportive workplace, we care about you and strive to provide a learning environment within a strong, well balanced, and experienced team of vets and nurses.

**We are seeking someone who**:

- Has animal-based work experience, as a volunteer or as an animal attendant
- Is currently studying, or has completed their Cert. II or III, with plans to complete Cert. IV
- Is keen to learn, and wants to embrace our ‘Livingstone Road family-feel’
- Is enthusiastic with a friendly disposition
- Has strong communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Is a team player
- Has an affinity and love for animals, and is confident with animal handling
- Is not averse to cleaning

**Job description**:

- Introduction to vet nursing for right applicant
- Part-time role - 2-3 day a week / 13.5 hrs per week
- Management, walking, cleaning and feeding of our boarders
- Boarding facility cleaning and laundering
