**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a Permanent position on a **9-day fortnight roster**, DIDO to our Boddington Mine site.

As the **Geologist Database your role is to maintain the integrity of the geological database supporting operational requirements including drilling and sampling programs.**

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation
- Manage the import, validation and maintenance of the geological database to ensure data integrity
- Provide valid geological information as an input into geological and resource modelling
- Monitor and regularly report QAQC performance
- Assist with the development and support of exploration and other drilling program

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong communication skills
- A strong work ethic and ability to deliver within a flat business structure
- An understanding of database management
- Knowledge of the principles of exploration, mining and resource geology
- Knowledge of sampling theory, sampling techniques and QAQC

**Qualifications for this position are**:

- Relevant degree or experience (Geology, Computing or Engineering)
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency.
- Proven capability in the use of planning, database, and design tools, specifically AcQuire, Vulcan and ArcGIS.
- 3+ years relevant geology experience
