**Brief description**

**Tasks**
- Grow OVP’s national presence through communication with aligned networks
- Write grants for philanthropy, government and investors to grow OVP and sustain projects
- Acquit grants and demonstrate the success of programs
- Measure impact for grant writing demonstrating our impact and success of projects
- Extend OVP’s reach, sourcing opportunities, grants, funding options and philanthropic investment
- Generate potential sponsorship and sales leads and opportunities
- Work closely with the Business Manager and CEO to identify projects worth pursuing
- Measure and analyze the ROI of the role and associated projects

**Qualifications and preferred skills**
- Proficiency in the use of the Google Drive/Docs Suite
- Ability to write to strict deadlines
- Demonstration on sourcing and acquitting grants in previous work
- Display in-depth knowledge/experience of Not For Profit Sector and Grassroots Organisations
- Current Drivers Licence
- Degree or Higher Education
- Ability to listen, communicate effectively and be open to accepting other team members ideas
- Willingness to be flexible in approach to all situations and tasks
- Punctual and reliable
- Great time management skills
- Integrity, Honesty and Ethical Conduct
- Attention to detail is essential
- Strong knowledge of non-profit organisations and confidence to contribute innovative solutions in this sector
