**Role Snap Shot**

The Design lead is responsible for the coordination of Civil Design project teams to deliver high quality design
solutions for a range of land development and infrastructure projects specific to Civil Engineering, which achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Manage design team workflow outputs to meet project and budget requirements;
- Lead and mentor Design Engineers to best deliver quality, efficient outcomes;
- Coordinate team resources to achieve productivity goals and assist in reaching project invoicing targets;
- Champion and lead the creation and implementation of new "best practice" design systems and pr
- Build and foster client relationships to secure repeat engagements and support expansion of future proje

**How You Will Contribute**
- Coordinate and assist project teams in the preparation of concept designs, functional layouts, estimates,specifications, tender and contract documentation and design reports for a range of proje
- Provide specialised knowledge and input into designs at concept, preliminary and detailed design stage to ensure designs comply with appropriate standards, specifications and are "fit for purpose".
- Oversee the development of new design works that are best practice, innovative and cognisant with the objectives of Taylors and our client
- Coordination and delegation of Project tasks with the view to optimise out
- Establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships

**Our Ideal Person**

**We would love to hear from you if you have the following**:

- 10+ years engineering experience
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering design within a land development context
- Experience leading small teams
- Experience engaging with a diverse range of clients
- Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities
