Apprentice Fitter

We are seeking a 1st year apprentice fitter.

We are a leading producer of premium quality mushroom compost in Australia. You will be joining a wholly owned Australian Company established in 1981 that has grown to be the largest agricultural private enterprise in the Hawkesbury.

Learn from and assist tradespeople in:

- Repair machinery and equipment which breaks down.
- Inspect equipment. Identify faulty or worn out equipment and rectify or replace as required.
- Carry out routine Maintenance on mobile and fixed machinery and welding.
- Perform other supervised workshop duties as directed
- Be an effective communicator, calm and approachable.
- The ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and reliable
- A current driver’s licence or available transport
- You are capable of flexible work arrangements including early or late starts, rostered public holidays and weekends as required.
- Be prepared to attend TAFE and study.
